Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our mobile application that helps you create Islamic marriage (Nikah) certificates from JSON-based templates, preview them, export PDFs, and optionally unlock premium templates using in-app credits (the App
). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
This Policy applies to the App and to related web pages we publish under the /aqd path on musiqapp.com.
Who we are
The App is operated as part of the MusiqApp project (we
, us
). You can learn more about our site at https://musiqapp.com/.
Summary of the product (important context)
- The App is a form-based document generator driven by template definitions. It is not a free-form design tool or drag-and-drop editor.
- We provide anonymous sign-in via Firebase Authentication. There is no Google/Apple social login for full account management in the App as described in our product scope.
- Template catalog data is delivered through our API; template JSON and related assets may be downloaded from Firebase Storage and cached on your device.
- We do not offer a cloud backup feature for your certificate drafts as part of the documented product scope; information you enter is primarily processed on your device for preview and PDF generation unless you choose to share or export it.
- Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple/Google; our servers may verify purchases to update your credit balance.
Information we collect and process
1) Technical account identifier (anonymous)
To secure requests and enable access-controlled resources, the App uses Firebase Authentication (anonymous). This creates a technical identifier (for example, a Firebase user UID) that may be sent to our backend in request headers.
2) App API requests
When the App contacts our backend (for example, during app bootstrap and credit validation), we may process data such as:
- your Firebase user identifier,
- your preferred language code,
- platform information (e.g. iOS/Android),
- limited integrity signals that help reduce abuse (for example, Firebase App Check limited-use tokens when enabled and sent by the client).
Like most internet services, server-side processing may also observe technical metadata such as IP address and request time (depending on infrastructure), used for security and reliability.
3) Credit balance and purchase verification
Your credit balance may be stored and maintained on our servers so premium template access can be enforced consistently. If you make an in-app purchase, the platform may provide purchase artifacts (such as receipt or purchase token data), product identifiers, transaction identifiers, and localized price strings, which we process to validate the purchase and update credits.
4) Data you enter into certificate fields
Information you type into certificate forms is used to render previews and PDFs. Unless you explicitly export/share content outside the App, this information is not uploaded to our servers as a standard cloud save
feature of the App (as documented).
5) Local storage and caching
The App may store preferences and cached files on your device (for example, cached template JSON and images) to improve performance and offline resilience.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- provide, operate, and secure the App;
- deliver template catalog functionality and downloads;
- manage and validate credits and premium access;
- maintain service integrity (including abuse mitigation where applicable);
- comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We do not use your information to show third-party advertisements inside the App as part of the documented product scope.
Third-party services
The App relies on service providers, including:
- Google Firebase (for example: Authentication, Storage, App Check) — processing is subject to Google’s terms/policies;
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payments and purchase validation are subject to the platform’s rules.
These providers may process data according to their own privacy disclosures. We encourage you to review their policies.
Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
If applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of: performance of a contract (providing the App), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement) that are not overridden by your rights, and compliance with legal obligations. Where consent is required (for example, for certain optional features or communications), we will request it separately.
Retention
We retain server-side records only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including security, audit, and legal requirements. Data stored locally on your device remains until you delete the App data or uninstall the App, subject to your device settings.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data in multiple countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) or rely on other permitted transfer mechanisms.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, object to certain processing, or request portability. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact us using the details below.
Children
The App is not directed at children. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will indicate the new Last updated
date on this page (and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App).
